Mercedes Corby in hospital after assault in Bali

Schapelle Corby’s sister Mercedes has been viciously bashed in an apparently random attack by up to five men in the heart of Kuta, Bali’s tourism nightlife centre.
Mercedes, 39, suffered a severely broken nose and bleeding in one eye when she was assaulted by the gang of Indonesian men as they tried to snatch her handbag in the Kuta street last Thursday night.

Main Beach still closed to camping

Access to the Main Beach camping areas will remain closed for other week. We apologise to all our die hard Main Beach fans but as you can see, access is a problem.  The beach has a fair bit of rubbish but is OK to drive 2 1/2 hrs before and 2 hours after high tide. We will let you know the minute we can get in to any of the camping zones. Stay tuned……
